Now that we have lived in our new home for a few months we wanted to let you know how we are enjoying it. The open floor plan and room size is a perfect fit for our lifestyle, even better than we expected. I thought I would drop you a line regarding one of your employees. You have a young Assistant Superintendent by the name of Nate at Las Piedras at Sevano Village. This man is an asset to your company! He will serve you well in years to come. I’ve watched many young men come up through the ranks. He’s got great customer service in his veins. He will also go the extra mile to insure subcontractors complete work for the customer. Nate reminds me of me when I was his age. You stated in a letter, “We take pride in our work and reputation.” Well, after living in my house for almost two years, I found out that this was not an empty phrase, and that you and your company truly meant it. From the first step to the present, I found it a pleasure working with the entire Columbia team. Furthermore, I would like to pass on a compliment. My mortgage broker stated that in all of her many years as a broker, working with Columbia was her best experience because all matters were handled professionally, expeditiously, and courteously. Having now been in our new home for four weeks, I wanted to send you a status update. All too often people only send letters with complaints. In the course of my business, I have always believed in total customer service and responding to the customer. This letter is not to complain but to recognize customer service. I have been extremely impressed by the responsiveness of the on site Columbia team. They have been extremely responsive to our requests and questions. They truly have made a hectic time a little easier to manage. The level of customer satisfaction they adhere to is extremely high, and one I would expect from anyone in my organization. This level of dedication and awareness of customer needs must be recognized. The on site team has exceeded my expectations, and I want to make you and the management team aware, so their efforts may be rewarded in some way.
After an exhaustive search for the ideal home within our budget we concluded no one in the marketplace had a product like the Columbia homes at Los Vientos. As a first time homebuyer, stories from friends and family of how tedious and brutal the construction process can be had us extremely apprehensive about building. Our sales person was extremely helpful guiding us through the initial stages with invaluable tips and insight on how to achieve our goals. We were able to implement several custom changes to our floor plan making our home unique with a very personal touch. During the construction process the Staff at Columbia was always accessible and any question or concern was handled immediately and professionally. Even after closing on our home they have gone above and beyond to quickly remedy any situation. After shopping for new homes in the Scottsdale area, we decided to have Columbia Communities build our house. We were impressed with the quality of the homes and expertise of their support staff. We relied heavily on the construction supervisor and coordinator during the building process as we lived out of town during construction. Everything was done precisely as planned and they kept us abreast on the progress from start to finish. At the final walk through inspection, we found a few items that needed adjustment or replacement and were surprised at how quickly and professionally they were handled. The employees were very friendly and eager to help in every way. We would certainly recommend Columbia Communities as the best builder in the Phoenix area.
